Maine Heritage Weavers imanufactures USA woven terry cotton coverlets with 100 percent high grade cotton.
[tag]Martha's Choice[/tag] and American Tradition woven by Maine Heritage Weavers are examples of candlewicks, also referred to as terry loop. Candlewick bedspreads were named so because the length of the tuft (or terry loop) on the bedspread was as long as a candle's wick. [tag]Chenille[/tag] is woven the same way, however the loops are them trimmed, where as candlewick loops are left intact.
